Sleep is something we all take for granted until we have a problem with it.
Any emotional symptoms are made worse with poor sleep. Lack of sleep can affect our concentration and make us feel more irritable.

Need for sleep can occur anywhere and at anytime and is usually triggered by an emotional arousal eg. laughing, crying, anger.
These are differant to nightmares and are mostly experienced by children.
Adults can be affected when under stress. It occurs more frequently in children. They usually grow out of it by puberty.
